For reasons of safety and sanitation, each jurisdiction has its own requirements for the frequency of kitchen exhaust cleanings in commercial kitchens. Following the standards of NFPA #96 and International Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Association (IKECA) our process is thorough and effective and, typically, consists of the following steps:

  • Clean and degrease all existing hoods, ductwork, and fans in the kitchen area using USDA accepted soaps.
  • Clean and degrease ductwork from the kitchen area to the exhaust fans.
  • Clean and degrease the exterior exhaust fans.
  • Soak and clean all existing hood filters.
  • Clean and degrease kitchen hood area floors.
  • Wipe down and polish existing hoods upon completion of the job.
